Cirrus Documents

Before you begin your flying journey, it’s essential to have the right resources on hand. Depending on your training path, there are several key Cirrus handbooks you’ll want to download and keep readily accessible.

Cirrus Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge

Cirrus iFOM

Flight Operations Manual for different Cirrus configurations:

Digital POH/AFM

It is a good idea to get familiar with the systems and procedures of the aircraft you’ll be flying. Although each plane has manual(s) and supplement(s) specific for that aircraft, you may review a generic version here.

  • G6 or Earlier – These aircraft use a Pilot’s Operating Handbook (POH) and are divided into either an SR20, SR22 or SR22T and each of those aircraft have either a version for Perspective or Perspective+. Ask your instructor which aircraft you’ll be flying and which avionics the aircraft has and download that manual for review.
  • G7 aircraft – In place of a POH, these use an Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM) along with a Pilot’s Information Manual (PIM). All G7 aircraft use Perspective Touch + avionics.

The following are USA manuals for SR20, SR22 and SR22T planes using Perspective, Perspective+ or Perspective Touch+ avionics. If you’re flying an aircraft with different avionics, you will need to obtain the manual from the Cirrus Tech Pubs portal.

Supplements

Most aircraft contain supplements to the POH or AFM. To find out which supplement your aircraft has, look for the Supplements Log in the Supplements section and see which items are checked off.

The following are the most common supplements found for each aircraft type:

SR22 Supplements

Disclaimer

The manuals and supplements provided here are for generic review of the aircraft. You should always refer to the manual in your specific aircraft for specific guidance and regularly check the Cirrus Tech Pubs Portal for the latest available revision. The front page of each manual refers to serial number(s) to which it applies. However, this is still a generic manual because it does not include the weight and balance of the specific aircraft, or the supplements included in that specific aircraft.
